I sometimes consider a future where we may end up in living in a family home in the suburbs, and if that happened, how we might transform the backyard into a mini-farm and medicinal herb garden. I agree with you wholeheartedly about how suburbs being possibly a perfect place to grow food! The land is involved is next to the house. That in itself makes a big difference! And you have a relatively "small" area -- that makes it doable, plus gives incentive and opportunity to use your space well. Companion planting and so on! Thanks for the encouragement to share about herbs on my Substack. I will definitely do so!
